When my daughter joined the ASA community nearly three years ago, I had no clue they would become more like family. So, it was a no-brainer to stay with the studio once Zoom classes became the go-to. The enthusiasm of the instructors to teach, and the dedication of the my daughter to learn only makes it that much more important to keep her with the studio.
As the owner, Ms. B is incredibly professional and eager to help. She’s also transparent with parents - which is a plus. As an instructor, she listens intently, is patient and can “level” with my daughter who like most kids her age, has her “moments”. And that in turn, makes my daughter ask me weekly to get her to “Zoom ballet class”.
"We are very excited to continue virtual classes this fall! My daughter has said that she has seen improvements and feels like she gets more one on one instruction during virtual classes. As a parent I appreciate the attention to detail and explanations of each movement and technique! As well as student interactions with teachers. We have been very pleased with virtual classes. "
When my daughter first started dancing, she was very shy, but over the last few years, I've watched her blossom into a beautiful dancer. She prefers to dance only at ASA and refuses to go anywhere else. She loves all her teachers and staff at the studio. As a parent I love the sense of community and family that the studio provides. Everyone is concerned and willing to help. I also appreciate the virtual learning experience, it allowed my daughter to continue learning all thru the Corvid experience. I'm very grateful to Ms. Bernice for weathering the difficult times.
A Step Ahead Performing Arts Studio had a spacious facility, at nearly 7,000 sq. feet. It was one of the largest professional dance and theater education facilities in the Atlanta/Athens area. We are thankful for the years it served us all so well. May the many memories built here serve you well though out your lives.
We had 3 dance studios, a large in-house theater space, 2 waiting areas, a lounge for intensive dancers, and a changing room. All our studios featured sprung floors, which was of utmost importance to prevent injury to our dancers.
Our classes were designed to stimulate students's minds in a positive and nurturing environment while training them to dance with proper technique and artistry. Carefully structured weekly classes develop coordination, control, and body awareness while creatively exploring music dynamics. Children were taught to be keen observers and cooperative team members. Our goals were to instill confidence, self-esteem, and artistic expression in each of our students. All of our instructors love teaching children, and have been professionally trained to do so.
ASA offered quality dance and theater education in Loganville, GA. We worked hard to provide a strong and diverse training program for our students.
Please note the studio has been closed. Questions? Please send us a message or email!
We will get back to you as soon as possible!
